We have had some sick dogs lately.
One example is poor Yoji - he recently had a nasty virus, and his treatment at the ER vet clinic was appromixately $1,000.

If you scroll down you can read about our new foster dog Chinook, who had never been to the vet before he arrived at the shelter. He is currently being treated for giardia, and once that is gone and he is at a healthy weight, he will need to go back to the vet for vaccinations, bloodwork, etc.
