Sonny Needs A Home

Sonny is in our Owner Surrender program. Sonny is a 4 year old Husky/Shepherd/Chow mix. He has a lovely black, brown and white coat, and one blue and one brown eye. Sonny‘s current owner rescued him from a very bad neglectful situation where he was tied outside 24/7 for years. He is slowly learning to trust people, and learning how to behave with new people and other animals.

Sonny is going to obedience classes and he is okay with some other dogs. He has not been around cats, but it is probably not a good idea. He is a nice boy, but he will need someone who is patient and has lots of dog experience. He needs a place where he can get lots of exercise since he has a lot of energy. Sonny plays rough, is mouthy and jumps up on strangers and barks on them, his owner is working with him on those things and he is making progress. If you would like more information about Sonny, please email our Owner Surrender team.

Howdy from London. I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that we adopted a rescue dog earlier this week. His name is Frasier. He's an 8-month-old miniature schnauzer, and he was neglected in his original home.

In the 3 days we've had him, he's had so much love and affection that we're literally beside ourselves with happiness.

I've posted about him here:

I wanted to thank you for your words of inspiration as we've planned bringing a dog into our family. You have helped us so much, and I wish there were some way to more tangibly express our appreciation.

You do such wonderful work, and every time our furry fellow trots up for a tickle behind the ears, I'll think of you.

(But don't worry...I'm not going anywhere. I will be an avid reader of your work for as long as you write about it!)

All the best,

Carmi
